Where can I see your products in person?
Experience our collection firsthand at our first brick-and-mortar location, Story Cape Town, where you can explore our garments in person before purchasing. Private showroom visits remain available exclusively by appointment—contact us at info@plains.store to arrange your visit, and we’ll share all relevant details including our location, availability, and any additional information to ensure a seamless and personalised experience.
We also aim to be present at select markets whenever possible, offering more opportunities to engage with our products firsthand. For updates on new stockists, market appearances, and future showcases, stay connected through our Instagram and subscribe to our mailing list.
What is your return/exchange policy?
Plains has a 10-day return policy for all items purchased from Plains except for items purchased on sale or if a coupon was redeemed during the purchase. The 10-day count starts from the date of purchase in person and on the date of delivery for online purchases. Please contact us about any damaged or defective items with accompanying photos within the 10-day period. Items will only be accepted for returns if they are in the same condition from the day of purchase or delivery (i.e., have not been worn, have all tags attached, and in the original packaging). A valid receipt will also need to be presented. If you have purchased an item from our online store, please mail info@plains.store to arrange a return. The courier fee will be for your account.
How does shipping work?
Shipping is available both domestically and internationally. Domestic orders within South Africa are handled by RAM Couriers, with processing and packaging taking place on Mondays and Wednesdays, and collections on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Orders ship once proof of payment is received, or when funds are visible in our account if proof is not provided, with delivery expected within 3–5 working days after collection. International orders are shipped via TUNL and can take up to 10–14 working days to arrive, with all customs duties, taxes, and import fees payable by the customer. Shipping costs, where applicable, are for the customer’s account. For any queries, please contact info@plains.store.
How can I track my order?
Once we have received your order and payment has reflected you will receive an order confirmation. You will be notified via a subsequent mail containing your tracking number once your parcel has been collected by the courier.
